(Nuremberg, 10.10.2023) - This year, DIGITTRADE GmbH will again be present as an exhibitor at the leading IT security trade fair it-sa from 10 to 12 October in Nuremberg. Professionals and decision-makers will once again be given the opportunity to explore the latest developments, trends and innovations in the field of cybersecurity.
DIGITTRADE GmbH (Hall 7A, Booth 615) will highlight its encrypted external storage devices (Kobra Drive VS) and USB-C sticks (Kobra Stick VS), which made their debut 2 years ago. Only recently, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) extended the approval for classified information of the Kobra VS storage devices until 30.04.2026. This means that they continue to be suitable for the storage, safekeeping, forwarding and secure transport of sensitive, personal and classified information up to the classification level VS-NfD (classified information - for official use only), RESTRICTED UE/EU RESTRICTED and NATO RESTRICTED for authorities and companies.
The external storage devices and USB sticks combine hardware-based real-time encryption according to AES with 256-bit in XTS mode with two-factor authentication by means of a smart card and 8-digit PIN. In addition, the crypto keys (creation, modification and destruction) are managed by the user. In addition to DIGITTRADE smartcards, PKI-based company, service and troop ID cards can also be used for authentication. With regard to confidentiality, all stored data is thus protected against unauthorised access in the event of loss or theft.
